Where can I find agenda information?

Be sure you have downloaded the Whova App on your smart device–using the same email address that you used to register for the conference–to help plan your conference schedule. In our attempt to be as green as possible, there won’t be physical copies of the agenda at this year’s conference. Please refer to your Whova conference app for selecting which sessions you plan to attend and to see the latest agenda updates.

Where can I find accessibility and accommodation information?

Learn more about the JW Marriott here: https://www.marriott.com/en-us/hotels/indjw-jw-marriott-indianapolis/overview/

Additional information about the physical features of accessible rooms, common areas, or special services relating to a specific disability, contact the JW Marriott at 317-860-5800.

Additionally, when reasonable, HR Indiana SHRM will provide accommodations when we become aware of a request.  To make an accommodation request or if you have an inquiry around reasonable accessibility – please click here (make a link…and route it to Admin@HRIndianaSHRM.org).  Upon receiving a request, HR Indiana SHRM will work with you toward finding the right solutions for you to have access.  Note – please allow for appropriate lead time for any accommodation request.

Where do I find certification credit codes for the sessions I am attending?

NEW FOR 2023 – HR Indiana Conference will have one single all-inclusive SHRM PDC code and one HRCI code too.

Within the Whova conference app, navigate to the 2023 HR Indiana Annual Conference event and on the “Home” screen select the “Documents” tab within the “Additional Resources” section. By the conclusion of the conference, look for a PDF file that includes the words “Certification Codes” in the title.

What COVID precautions should I be expecting at the conference?

The health and safety of all visitors to the HR Indiana Conference remains a top priority. We will continue to follow local and venue requirements, as well as the guidance provided from the CDC. As information pertaining to the virus evolves, we will adjust our approach as needed. For more information, please consult the CDC website to know what measures to take based on your exposure or symptoms.

Where can I find information about meals, including what I should do if I have dietary accommodation needs?

Breakfast snacks, coffee, tea and juice will be available each morning from 7:00am-8:30am. Monday and Tuesday mornings, breakfast will be available in Grand Foyer 5-6 (outside the General Session ballroom) and on Wednesday morning, breakfast will be available inside Griffin Hall. All our lunch times are built into the agenda as events, so please be sure you add those events to your daily schedule in the conference app. If you made a special dietary request with your registrations, please alert your server once you sit down at your table.

There is also a Starbucks on the 2nd floor in the JW Marriott. Note: this Starbucks doesn’t allow payment from the Starbucks app but does serve a full Starbucks menu. Their hours of operation are daily from 6:30am – 2:00pm.

Where can I find the Mother’s Room?

The Mother’s Room will be located in room 302/303 throughout the conference.

I signed up to be a volunteer, where do I go to check in for my shift?

Please consult the volunteer-specific email you received regarding your volunteer shift(s). There is also a volunteer lounge with snacks and refreshments available inside the Hospitality Hub. Please check in at the volunteer lounge before your shift so we can be sure to provide you with any updates and changes.

Where can I find the lost and found?

Please check with the JW Marriott directly for assistance with lost items. You could also check in at the information desk on the 3rd floor in the JW Marriott as well.

My session is in one of the White River Rooms, where are those rooms located?

There are signs directing you to the White River Rooms, which are on the first floor of the JW Marriott. These rooms can be accessed by proceeding down the escalators outside of Griffin Hall on the second floor adjacent to the windows that face Victory Field.
