Conference Attendee + SHRM Certification Awards


Two Awards
  • Conference Attendee Award – Paid admission to the 2026 SHRM Indiana Conference including hotel, parking and limited food expenses
  • SHRM Certification Award – $2500 will be awarded to support the pursuit of a professional SHRM certification

Conference Attendee Award (deadline 6/15/2026)

  • Award recipient will receive paid admission to the 2026 SHRM Indiana Conference including hotel, parking and limited food expenses.
  • This award is a one-time award to the recipient.
  • Eligibility is based on the following:
    • Attendance at the upcoming SHRM Indiana Conference (must register as an attendee)
    • Must hold a position in the HR profession
    • SHRM and/or Indiana local chapter member preferred
  • Selection Criteria
    • Work experience/progression (HR involvement and future career plans)
    • Volunteer activity
    • Financial need
    • Must reside in Indiana
  • How to apply
    • Complete an application – Award Application
    • Submit one professional letter of reference providing insight into the person’s character, career and volunteer accomplishments, work ethic, values and need for award.
  • Timeline
    • Applications submitted by June 15, 2026
    • All applicants notified prior to SHRM Indiana Conference
    • Award recipient announced at the SHRM Indiana Conference

 

SHRM Certification Award (deadline 6/15/2026)

  • Award recipient will receive $2500 to support the pursuit of professional SHRM certification (could apply to learning materials, exam fee and first year membership dues) *1099 will be filed and is taxable income.
  • Awarded annually in August each year at the SHRM Indiana Conference
  • This award is a one-time award to a recipient.
  • Eligibility is based on the following:
    • Indiana local chapter member preferred
    • Must be preparing to sit for a SHRM certification exam
  • Selection Criteria
    • Work experience/progression (HR involvement and future career plans)
    • Volunteer activity
    • Financial need
    • Must reside in Indiana
  • How to apply
    • Complete an application – Award Application
    • Submit one professional letter of reference providing insight into the person’s character, career and volunteer accomplishments, work ethic, values and need for award.
