HR Director

Job Description

Primary Responsibilities

  • Provide coaching and counsel to managers on employee relations issues
  • Manage the day to day activities of the HR Staff
  • Oversee recruiting, onboarding and training functions
  • Manage LOA’s: FMLA, Workers’ Compensation
  • Ensure all company policies and procedures are followed
  • Interpret and administer company policies
  • Provide Manager Training: Interviewing Skills, Performance Reviews, Conflict Resolution, Leadership Skills/Style, Coaching/Counseling/Discipline, and Sexual Harassment
  • Ensure Compliance: Employee Files, I-9’s, Labor Law Posters, OSHA 300 Reporting, EEO-1 Report, Vets 100 Report
  • Other ad hoc duties as may be assigned

Job Requirements

  • 7-10 years of progressive human resources experience
  • HR Management experience required
  • Excellent customer service approach
  • Experience with HR Technology platforms a must, ADP Vantage Highly Preferred
  • HR Certification highly preferred
  • Knowledge and Federal and State employment laws
  • High ability to manage/prioritize daily workload and project deliverables
  • Sense of urgency
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multi-task
  • Strong MS Office products experience
  • Capable of maintaining confidential information
