Intern – Human Resources

Springleaf Financial Services, an Equal Opportunity Employer is currently looking for a local college student who is seeking a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resource or IT major preferred, to participate in our paid, temporary part-time internship program.Interested in a career in Human Resources? Our program is designed to give interns a hands-on experience with job accountabilities. Each intern will have an opportunity to be mentored by experienced HR Professionals.

As a Springleaf Human Resources Intern, you will be a member of HRIS Team providing assistance to our current team members while gaining valuable experience which will provide them a foundation in their pursuit of future career opportunities.

Job Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update current databases
  • Compare and analyze data for accuracy
  • Run Access and Excel reports for payroll purposes

Job Requirements

  • Candidate must be a current college student in a Human Resources, Business or IT related program
  • Working knowledge of Access Query and Report Writing
  • Advanced skills with Excel using pivot tables, graphs and charts
  • High energy and a drive to succeed
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proven problem-solving skills
  • 15-20 hours per week
