You have an opportunity to join the F.C. Tucker Company, who is the largest independent real estate firm in Indiana and is ranked among the largest independent real estate firms in the nation.  We have more than 1,000 agents, and 200 employees in the Indianapolis area.  While under the same ownership, there are multiple operating companies.  In addition, we also have independently owned Franchise operations located in communities throughout Indiana.

As the Chief Human Resources professional, you are responsible for developing and executing human resource strategy in support of the overall business plan and strategic direction of the Tucker Company, specifically in the areas of talent management, performance management, training and development, and total compensation. You must be able to articulate HR needs and plans to the executive management team and ownership.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Establish and implement HR efforts that effectively communicate and support the company’s mission and strategic vision.
  • Develop HR plans and strategies to support the achievement of the overall business operations objectives.
  • Develop comprehensive strategic recruiting and retention plans to meet the human capital needs of strategic goals.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive compensation and benefits plans that are competitive and cost-effective.
  • Serve as a Trustee to the Company’s Retirement Plan.

  • Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
  • Knowledge of and experience with varied human resource information systems.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Education and Experience:

  • A BS/BA degree from an accredited college/university; MBA or MA/MS in human resources or related field preferred.
  • A minimum of 10 years of HR experience, with at least three years of executive HR experience.
  • SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) certification preferred.
