Hosting a Fall SHRM Certification Chapter Study Group?
Please let Jen Lange (Jennifer.Lange@oldnational.com) know if your chapter is planning/hosting a fall SHRM Certification (SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP) study group…it can either be a study group that the chapter sponsors (i.e. coordinates/runs, etc.) or one in which you partner with a recognized local education partners (colleges, universities, etc.)!

SHRM Payments from 2017
Timing of 2017 SHRM Recertification enhanced financial support initiative payments is TBD. As you may remember, SHRM offered enhanced financial support to those SHRM Chapters and State Councils in good standing based on the number of SHRM members who recertified between January 1, 2017 and December 31, 2017.
- Chapters were to receive $20 per each chapter member who is a SHRM member in good standing, primarily coded to the chapter and recertified their SHRM Certification during 2017
- State Councils were to receive $10 per each SHRM member in good standing (in-chapter and at-large) in the state who recertified their SHRM Certification during 2017
While SHRM initially indicated that the payment will be made to affiliates in good standing in early 2018 based on the number of recertified members meeting the above criteria as of 12/31/17…the payment date is still TBD. SHRM continues to work on the reporting so they can review/ensure the correct payments are made – Callie Zipple with SHRM will continue to keep us posted on the anticipated timing of these payments.
