How is it that we’re creeping into October already? It’s been a quick year, with lots of changes. I feel like I’m still bolstered from HR Indiana State Conference – I LOVED meeting and talking with so many of you!
For those of you who are unaware, SHRM has revamped their take on DEI/DEIB/IE&D – and has now chosen to focus on I(clusion) & D(iversity). Here is a link to their new playbook: Unlock the Future of Inclusive Workplaces – SHRM I&D Playbook
I also thought it was important to acknowledge the very large elephant and donkey: donkephant… elekey…??, in the room. SHRM has published a great article here: Navigating Political Discussions at Work with SHRM
I know I normally try to include short videos or anecdotes that are easy to share with all age ranges – but I just feel like there’s SO much between September and October, that it was so hard to choose what to focus on. If you’d like resources, please feel free to reach out.
