Q: Why did you get into HR?
A: I wanted to be an OSHA inspector, but I thought people wouldn’t like me! I went into HR because everyone likes HR — right?
Q: What do you love most about your job?
A: I love helping leaders have the confidence to lead and develop their team.
Q: What has been one of your greatest professional accomplishments?
A: I’ve seen my team grow and accomplish things they didn’t think were possible.

A: SHRM helps me keep connected with the local HR community.
Q: How has being a member of SHRM helped you in your career?
Early on, the SHRM message board online helped me in a pinch when I was a department of one.
Q: What do you enjoy doing outside of work?
A: I enjoy volunteering at my church and spending time with my family.
Q: Who or what inspires you?
A: I love seeing people living their best life and bringing their whole self to work.
