Q: Why did you get into HR?
A: I had an internship in HR that really opened my eyes to the possibility of a career in HR.

A: I like working with people and feeling like I’m making a difference in people’s lives and careers.

A: Transitioning into a new role is always a challenge, but I try to take it day by day.
Q: Why is SHRM membership important to you?
A: My SHRM membership allows me to branch out both personally and professionally, and I get to meet new people in my field.
Q: How has being a member of SHRM helped you in your career?
A: I was part of a SHRM study group that assisted with my SHRM-CP certification, which helped me take my career to the next level.
Q: What do you enjoy doing outside of work?
A: I enjoy spending time with my family and friends and traveling.
Q: Who or what inspires you?
A: My coworkers inspire me, as well as the people I’ve worked with in the past.
